ZOO City is a chain of shops that specializes in selling everything your pets could ever need. Their „Out of love for pets“ tagline captures their effort to provide customers with the best buyer experience whether they own a dog, a cat, a bird, a fish or a reptile. Staying true to their tagline they chose to create a warm and appealing campaign so their fans could cherish unforgettable moments with their pets. They decided to go with Socialpuzzles Photo Contest.
They named this contest „ZOO City animal selfie“ and asked their fans to take selfies with their animal companions. The finalists of the best photo selfies won coupons that could be spent in in the ZOO city shops. This campaign really hit the spot and it turned out to be the perfect contest for their target audience.
The results exceeded everyone’s expectation – two weeks of Facebook ads and a paid page link ad brought in 5185 visits and more than 700 uploaded photos. Fans were smittened by the great selfies and cast more than 3500 votes.
With this campaign, ZOO City’s Facebook page has grown from 33,664 fans to more than 35,500 fans and it still continues to grow. It took only two weeks for the reach of their posts to go from 18000 to an astonishing 263393!
